"During my childhood, I spent time at a beach, casting the textures of the sand as the tide retreated. The patterns are sometimes regular, sometimes haphazard, and always balance between the solid nature of the ground and the fluid nature of water. 'Tidal Sand' captures a moment in the cyclical process of this shifting ground."
