Supporting Arts Education in the Cary Community
Cary Visual Art, Inc. (CVA) has established a scholarship program to encourage higher education study in the visual arts field. Individual scholarship award amounts of $1,000 per year for up to 4 years will be awarded to each recipient. Recipients will be selected based on artistic merit, significant volunteer service to the arts, and intention to pursue an art related college curriculum.
The Cary Visual Art Scholarship was established to encourage youth to pursue volunteer service activities in the arts. Cary Visual Art, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the visual arts in the Cary community. Through partnerships with other non-profit organizations, as well as the Town of Cary and local businesses, CVA funds the commissioning and placement of art throughout the community, sponsors temporary exhibitions and hosts public lecture programs. Our goal is to promote public access to visual art through the support of public art projects and educational programs.
