The CVA Young Cary Artists Scholarship Program
The Young Cary Artists Scholarship Program, now in its third year, awards $2,500 scholarships to deserving Cary high school seniors who have displayed artistic excellence, demonstrated extensive service to the artists in their school or community, and who plan to further their education in any of the visual arts, including Fine Art, Architecture, Photography, Art History, Product Design, Landscape Design, Art Education, Graphic Arts, Commercial Art, Fashion Design, 3-D Design, and other Visual Arts. The scholarship recipients are recognized for their achievements at the Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition Opening Night Reception and have their artwork featured in a special May exhibition at the CVA Gallery at The Cary News. To date, CVA has awarded 15 scholarships to high-achieving student artists in our community.
The 2017 CVA Young Cary Artist Scholarship Recipients are:
Brian Spangler (Cardinal Gibbons High School)

Join us for a special ceremony celebrating these talented young artists on May 1 from 5:30 - 8:30 pm at The Cary Theater (122 E Chatham St).
